What services do you offer?

  • It’s up to you! Some clients prefer to be home, while others provide access instructions so they can go about their day. We’re flexible and happy to work with your preferences.
  • We recommend the following preparations that you can do to ensure the cleaner can focus on cleaning so you get the most thorough cleaning for your home. Please pick up any personal items, remove clutter/toys, secure any important items, be helpful and friendly and please let us know in advance if there are any specific areas you want us to prioritize.
  • Yes! Our cleaners are thoroughly trained in safe and effective cleaning techniques and are fully insured for your peace of mind.
  • Cleaning removes debris like dirt and dust from surfaces. This usually comes in the form of dusting, vacuuming, and mopping. Sanitizing is removing germs and bacteria from surfaces using sanitizing products. A surface can be cleaned without being sanitized.
  • We offer green cleaning options and use eco-friendly products upon request. Let us know if this is something you’d like, and we’ll ensure your home is cleaned with non-toxic, environmentally safe products.

  • Absolutely! We can tailor the cleaning to focus on specific areas or tasks. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
  • Yes, we bring all the necessary supplies and equipment. However, if you have specific products you prefer us to use, we’re happy to accommodate.
  • We will be happy to evaluate your home and make a recommendation if you need a deep cleaning or regular basic cleaning and inform you of any additional services that are recommended.
  • We recommend having your home cleaned weekly. If your home is on the smaller side, your space may be okay with just bi-weekly services. The best part about our services is that we’re able to change and customize the frequency to fit your space’s specific needs. Whether that’s weekly, monthly, or quarterly, our team of cleaning experts is happy to work with you to determine the best schedule of care.
  • We recommend deep cleaning once per quarter, especially the kitchen and bathrooms at a minimum.
  • Yes! We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cleaning options for clients looking for consistent service. Regular clients often receive a discount.

Billing Questions

What’s your cancellation policy?
  • We request at least 24–48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Last-minute cancellations may incur a fee to cover the time reserved for you.
  • It’s ultimately up to your preference, is optional and yet appreciated, however the house cleaner is providing you with a service, and it’s customary to show your appreciation for exceptional service of that service with a gratuity.

 

  • Here are a few guidelines that might help:
  • When to Tip:
    • If your cleaner did an exceptional job or went above and beyond.
    • For a deep clean, move-in/move-out clean, or special occasion (like holiday season).
    • When working with an independent cleaner rather than through a company that may already include service fees.

 

  • How Much to Tip:
  • For routine cleaning or regular visits, tipping $10–$20 per visit is common.
  • For a one-time deep clean, consider tipping 10–20% of the service cost.

Around the holidays, clients sometimes give a larger tip or small gift as a “thank you.”

  • The price of your home cleaning will vary based on several factors, including the size of the area to be cleaned, the frequency of cleaning visits, the condition of the space, the unique features of your home, the materials required, and even the presence of pets!
  • We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and cash. Payment is typically due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made.
  • Referral discounts
  • If you work from a home office, you may be able to write off a portion of your cleaning service on your taxes. Work with a qualified tax service provider to learn more.

General Questions

Is a professional housecleaner worth it?
  • A high-quality, professional house cleaner is worth it because it saves you time and energy and helps you maintain your home. You’ll be able to dedicate more time to your family, career, or hobbies or anything else that isn’t cleaning. More time for you!
  • Your satisfaction is our priority.
    • If the cleaner is still there, clearly and calmly outline what improvements you expect. We welcome the feedback and will try to make it right, right away. We want you to be happy with our service 100% of the time.
    • If you’re not fully satisfied, let us know within 24 hours, and we’ll arrange a re-clean of the area(s) in question at no additional cost.
  • For safety reasons, we don’t handle heavy lifting or moving of furniture, high or inaccessible areas (no higher than the 2nd step of a step ladder), pest control, bodily fluids human or animals, pet waste or hazardous materials, child care or pet care.
